KRIEGSMARINE COMMANDER GLASS 8 X 60 SLIM MODEL

A Carl Zeiss Kriegsmarine binoculars known as “the slim model” in an beautiful condition.
This comes from a series of 300 pieces made in 1941.
The outside with rough structure is beautifully intact!
These binoculars also feature the well-known T. Zeiss lens coating.
Smooth working eyepieces, removable rubber eye cups and leather carrying strap.
The optical part is excellent; beautiful clear sharp image, has recently had full service!
The optics are just as beautiful as they left the factory in 1941.
"M.S.S." stands for "Marine-Signal-Station" ("Navy Signal Station").
They were built in small numbers in probably eight production lots with consecutive
serial numbers, of which it is best known here.
