HOURGLASS 18TH CENTURY

A large hourglass in a very beautiful wooden frame.
The top and bottom have a decorated rosette, inlaid with a circle of ebony and bone in hourglass model.
Two large pear-shaped ampoules of clear glass, some air bubbles, and filled with beige volcanic sand.
The bulbs are joined with wax and bound with wire.
The running time is approximately 20 minutes.
The frame has patina.
Good flow of the sand.
