A fine and rare double organ pipe from the mid-17th century.
This charming hourglass was used aboard ships in the 17th century.
Every half hour the hourglass was turned for the hitting of the glasses.
This instrument has running times of half an hour and one quarter.
The spheres are blown separately from each other and are full of air bubbles.
The spheres are connected through a classic knot connection, rope covered with wax.
The glass is light green in color, the interior consists of fine ground orange silica sand.
Fully functional, good regular passage of the sand.
The frame is made of oak wood with a dark patina.
