POLISHED SEXTANT IN MAHOGANY-WOODEN BOX BY GABRIEL HALIFAX  CA. 1900

Elegant sextant in circle frame carried out in brass.  
The instrument has been professionally polished and lacquered and is in excellent condition.  
The scale and vernier scale is very crisp, no wear, all calibrations perfectly legible with good scale magnifier.
The sextant has been fitted with:
Four colored sun glasses, three horizon glasses, tree telescopes, adjusting pin, eye cap and fine ivory travel compass white lid.  
The mirrors are good and all colored filters are present, no chips or cracks, mint condition!
Scale of 0 up to 120 degrees, with magnifying glass and vernier to 10 seconds.  
Scale partitioning and nonius from platinum.  
Signed on the scale by J.W.Gabriel Halifax.
Comes with test certificate by Husun, last tested in 1937
