Kriegsmarine sextant of Plath in a ladder frame of black coated aluminum, numbered 3369 on the arm and 18031 to the arc.
Index arm with micrometer wheel, Kriegsmarine logo, clearly engraved is the German eagle clutching
an orb of the world with swastika.
The sextant is equipped with:
Scale of-5 ° to 130 ° degrees
Two mirrors
Four colored Sun glasses
Three horizon glasses
Telescope
Chamois leather patch to clean the optics
The case contains a spare horizon mirror and index mirror, 2 sun shades for the telescope and a mirror adjusting tool.

and the inscription D.S: Deutsche Seewarte ( examined at The German Naval Observatory in Hamburg)
Handle of Bakelite with again the commercial logo of "the Sun-Shooter".
The original pine wood case with Plath trade logo on the inside and around the keyhole.

The instrument is very well preserved.
