DRY COMPASS 19TH CENTURY

Gimballed dry compass in original box.
Made and signed by John Lilley & Son of London.
The compass is executed with a very beautiful and smooth compass rose.
Made in the period 1826 – 1863.
The compass is in good working order as it should be.
Heighth 6 inches.
Width 8.5 inches.

19TH CENTURY DRY COMPASS

A very nicely crafted sloop compass in original box.
The compass is gimballed and is executed in beautiful red copper.
Made and signed by F.J. Kloos & Son of Rotterdam in the 1850-1875 period.
The compass works like it should.
Height of the box: 13.5 cm (5.5 inches)
Width: 18.5 cm (7.5 inches)
Very nice condition.

A JOHN MORTON HAND BEARING COMPASS

Original Sestrel hand compass with battery lighting for evenings or nights.
Complete in the original mahogany case.
On the mahogany handle there is an ivorine table for writing down measurements.
Pretty rose, intact with Sestrel monogram.
No leaks, no air bubbles, nice clear prism.
